What Colours To Use This Autumn At Home

The leaves are scattered amongst the streets, the scarves are out & Pumpkin spiced latte’s are on the up. Plus, with the clocks having gone back a couple of weeks ago, we can safely say it’s officially feeling Autumnal! So to get you prepped for the colder months & feeling perfectly festive (don’t worry no one has said anything about Christmas yet!) we want you too start introducing Autumnal rich, warming tones into your home. Scroll on down below to find out which colours are here to spruce up your interior over the next couple of months.

Brown – long seen as a muddy colour with nothing to write home about, has recently become a rich, chocolatey hued tone worth of suiting anyones home. Think of it as the new, much less harsh black, it’s a great addition to add warmth & decadence. To view any product with a hint of brown in it click here, but if you want something more specific perhaps try looking at our range of leather & tan items. We’re especially fond of the Perez Dining Chairs which’ll be sure to warm up any interior space.

Ochres & Mustards

Frequently seen amongst high street shops now from fashion to interiors, colours such as ochres, burnt oranges & deep mustard yellows are a great on-trend addition to your Autumn home design. These muted hues give of a warming energy without being too obtrusive or overbearing so a great tone to add into your colour Pallette. Try scatter cushions or bedlinen in these colours for a cheap & easy injection. Here at only home we have a fantastic selection of products featuring these warming hues but we’re particularly fond of the Samos Multipurpose Indoor / Outdoor rug.

Creams have forever been a colour we see in summer however when introduced with darker colours, cream can be the perfect neutral hue to pair back your darker, Autumn scheme. Try our Only Home Cream Beaumont Rocking Chair for a design focused addition to your space.

So there you have it, you now know what colours are set to make your home a cosy one this season!
